The Hodgehill Neighbourhood Team brings you the following updates:
- Officers from the local NHT have conducted proactive patrols in problematic ASB hostpots across the ward with the aim of engaging with offenders and taking positive police action. These locations have included Fox and Goose, Colsehill Road, Brockhurst Road, Ventnor Avenue, Hodgehill Common, Maryland Avenue, Collingbourne Avenue, Old Bromford Lane and Bromford Road.
- Officers and PCSO's from the local NHT have been on an operation in relation to ensuring the safety of all within the recent Eid celebrations across the ward. These locations include Alum Rock Road and Small Heath Park. Officers and PCSO's have been present in the area to engage with local residents and ensure the safety of everyone celebrating at both locations.
- PCSO's from the local NHT have seized two vehicles from the Hodgeill ward in relation to being suspected stolen and used in the commission of a criminal offence. These vehicles have been taken off the road, contributing to the safety and wellbeing of local residents and the community as a whole.
- PCSO's from the local NHT have also conducted Streetwatch and Speedwatch groups across both Hodgehill and the Bromford area. These patrols have been conducted to highlight any issues the NHT isn't aware of and will actively contribute to any relevant positive policing action that can be taken against any ASB. |
